• Wounds to Wings Aerial Book Tour

I’m completely humbled and honored by the incredible experiences of the first-ever aeronautical book tour.

In just 13 days, I flew 7,000 nautical miles, touched down in towns across 33 states, met with the media, and made countless new friends. I parked Scarlett beside Doc (the B-29) in Wichita—the aviation capital of the world—received a behind-the-scenes tour of the Teterboro Air Traffic Control tower (thank you, Carlos!), visited the incredible team at AOPA, met the book designer and project manager at Forbes in REAL life! Navigated horrendous weather, handled a vapor lock over the Sierra Nevada mountains, and threaded through some of the busiest airspace in the nation (hello New York and Dallas). But what amazed me most was the kindness and generosity of the people I met along the way.

My part of the mission is complete—now I’m asking for your help. If you’ve landed one of the 100 advance copies of 7 Primal Wounds: Break the Patterns Keeping You Stuck, you’ve just joined aviation history. Read the book, discover your Primal Wound, sign the flight log, and pass it on. The goal? To see these books travel to at least seven countries before launch day on March 31, 2026.

Like a hot potato, the books continue to move—hand to hand, town to town—taking flight on their own wings until launch day.

This tour was never about selling books, they aren't even for sale yet.

It was about giving wings to our wounds—and showing that you, too, can SOAR.

Life is a runway - I choose to take off and experience all that this incredible adventure has to offer.

  • PRE FLIGHT

    Meet "Scarlett" the Big Poptart

She was born in 1944, flew during the war, and then—like so many unsung heroines—spent over 13 years grounded in a hangar in the Hamptons. But now? She's back in the sky and starring in the first-ever aerial book tour. Scarlett is a Stinson Reliant V77, and only 25 of her kind are still in service today. I’ve got a lot more coming- but for now, this video is your first glimpse of her second chance at flight.

    And then there's Carl...

Carl is a dear friend, who not only always has an inspiring or hysterical story to tell, but has a way of making you feel better no matter what you're going through. He's the kind of guy who pulls you in like jelly on peanut butter and never is short on cheeky grins for a shitty selfie. Carl is also responsible for my most viral reels on social media (something neither of us are probably very proud of, but you gotta wear it like a tattoo you got in your 20's).
He has a way of capturing the moment without making it feel like there's a camera rolling. I was honestly hesitant to film anything with the airplane at that point—I hadn’t even left-seated or soloed her yet—but Carl made it feel easy. No pressure. No performance. Just the beginning of something big.
This video isn’t just a teaser for the plane or the tour—it’s a moment. A turning point. A breath of courage. And, like all good things in my life lately, it’s got a little bit of Carl’s magic in it.

    Time to wheels up...

Since filming, I’ve practiced power off stalls, wheelie landings and much more...—and am positively soaring. And I can’t wait to meet many of you who share a love for vintage airplanes, round engines, and big sky dreams on my 7,000 nm coast-to-coast adventure.
