I stepped away from social media for three months.
Not a slow fade.
Not “I’ll still check in here and there.”
I went quiet.
Because I needed to.
Not from burnout— but from clarity.
When you’re building something big, there comes a point where you can’t split your attention anymore. You either stay visible… or you go do the work that actually matters.
I chose the work.
And Then I Came Back
I’ve been back for a short time now- and the response has been overwhelming.
Messages. Shares. Conversations.
People saying, “This is exactly what I needed.”
And it reminded me of something important:
People can feel when something is real.
Not rushed.
Not performative.
Not trying to keep up.
Built.
Why Social Media Feels So Different
Here’s what I’ve noticed, especially coming back in:
Instagram and Facebook require a different kind of presence.
They’re personal. Immediate. Exposed.
There’s no buffer.
You’re not just sharing ideas— you’re putting yourself in the line of fire.
And if you’re doing meaningful work, that can get loud fast.
YouTube feels different.
It’s more educational.
More structured.
There’s a layer to it—a bit of a shield.
But social?
That’s raw.
And showing up there consistently while building something significant behind the scenes… that’s a skill most people underestimate.
What You Don’t See
What people see now is the content.
What they didn’t see was the last three months.
The deep work.
The editing.
The refining.
The mental discipline it takes to stay focused when everything is trying to pull you off course.
Entrepreneurs and business owners live in that space.
Where you’re working relentlessly…
and it looks like nothing is happening.
Until suddenly—
it is.
The Focus It Takes to Do Big Things
You cannot build something meaningful while constantly distracted.
You just can’t.
Big things require intensity.
Long stretches of focus.
A willingness to be misunderstood for a while.
Because while everyone else is watching content—
you’re creating it.
While everyone else is reacting—
you’re building.
That’s the difference.
And Now—We’re One Week Out
We’re one week away from launch.
7 Primal Wounds.
Fifteen years of work distilled into something that actually helps people understand why they feel stuck—and what to do about it.
This wasn’t created in the margins.
It required stepping away… so I could come back with something that matters.

If You’re Here Right Now
Whether you’ve been following for years
or you just found me—
I’m glad you’re here.
This next week matters.
And if you’ve been feeling stuck in patterns you can’t quite explain—
this is exactly why I wrote this.
I didn’t step away to disappear.
I stepped away to build something worth coming back for.
And now we’re here.
